New-generation, high-performance electromechanical actuators offer the advantages of aesthetic design and easy installation. They provide high speed and dynamic motion. Various types are available for all industrial applications.

SHERRYEXPLANATION
B/SB/BHDSuitable for heavy duty and high capacity applications.
BVIt is suitable for multi-axis systems thanks to the bearing integrated into the body.
BThe range of applications is wide with the variety of carriages for flatbed movements. Proportionality precision is high.
SBR/STRPlain bearing ball type actuator for linear motion. Simple connection to any machine assembly.

Why an Electric Cylinder: It's well-documented that generating compressed air from pneumatic cylinders is not cost-effective, largely due to generator and system inefficiency. The design features of electric actuators allow them to achieve high performance while keeping overall energy consumption low. Based on experimental results, savings of €3,200 can be estimated for a typical single actuator application over a two-year period. In pneumatic systems, compressed air generation requires two steps: first, the air is generated electrically, before the air pressure is converted into linear motion using a pneumatic cylinder. Similarly, a traditional electric solution, converting motor rotation into electric actuator motion, requires only one step.

Consider a typical application involving moving a 15 kg load at 30 cycles per minute. In such an application, the pneumatic solution operates at approximately 2 bar, while the ETT solution consumes only 30 W of electricity per cycle. Of course, the initial start-up cost of the electric actuator solution is higher than its pneumatic counterpart. However, the total energy cost savings will offset the initial investment within one year. Furthermore, after 24 months of initial commissioning, the savings will amount to approximately €3,200. This savings applies to just one actuator. Multiply this figure by the number of actuators in a typical production line and you can easily see the significant savings potential.
